sorry for turning this blog into somthing resembling a david A fansite, but i'm so amazed every single time i just have to share it with people :D
haha. i loved the way his pitch perfect voice made it so soulful and, in my opinion, even more beautiful and breathtaking than the original.
(even if he did mess up the lyrics a little in the middle.heheh)
anyway, AI aside,
cross finals were yesterday.
The guys did really well and managed to clinch the gold! (:
the girls got third, which i thought was really good too! (:
I know the girls are very very disappointed that we didn't get the gold and i feel slightly guilty that i don't really share their disappointment, probably because i haven't spent enough time with the team/trained as hard(in terms of running).
But frankly speaking, i thought all that matters was that everyone did their best!
and putting in their all despite the various injuries that they were nursing was really really brave. (:
besides, having all 6 runners come in top 20 is no easy feat(:
2 Timothy 4:7 - I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
so no matter what position we got in the end, i really feel that the runners should be proud of themselves for giving it their best shot, and we should be proud of them for fighting so hard. (:
